We stopped here not knowing what to expect. They explained to us that they only have a fixed menu and it's a chef surprise, well, we decided to be adventurous and here we are... We started with 3 different appetizer plates to share , they came in succession and they were so good we ate them before I even remembered to take a pic, all three of them were really delicious but the sausage grilled with grapes and tomatoes was to die for We than had two meat dishes , one with chicken and one with ribs , both very tasty. The ribs were cooked to perfection. If that wasn't enough we got a pasta dish with a regional typical ragù. Once again very good indeed. After all of that food we got the desserts too, they were a Spoleto typical called crescionda, once again very good! The service was good and very friendly. So we highly recommend it especially if you are willing to be surprised by the chef! Sorry for the missing appetizers photo, they were sooo good we ate them before even thinking about pictures

Had a wonderful dinner here just after Christmas. We enjoyed a beautiful walk around Spoleto and then dinner here right in the center of town. The food was delicious, hearty and authentic, just like being invited into an Umbrian home, and Filippo is something between a manager, waiter and stand up comedian :) Highly recommend, excellent dinner, great atmosphere and really memorable evening.

Filippo's resturant has been such a uniqe and wonderful expirience for us. The place is filled with his loving and colorful personality. The menu is original and changing by the season. Everything that was surved was delightful, so delicious and you could just feel the love that was put into every dish. If you are in Spoleto, give yourself a gift and come here:) Thank you for such a wonderful expirience Fhilippo.

We can highly recommend eating here. There is so much to love about this place: the decoration, the food and the owners. We kind of got there by accident after we planned on eating somewhere else at first, but we were more than happy, that we got to be their guests. The home-cooked meals are something you don’t find in every restaurant and so is the friendly atmosphere. It was a unique experience and one of our favourite evenings of our trip to Italy!

A fantastic culinary experience with fresh, farm to table ingredients straight from the Umbrian countryside, and everything included at an unbelievable price. If you know you will be in Spoleto at dinner time, do yourself a favor, and book a table at Filippo's ristorante. You will not be disappointed. The food and service are AMAZING!!!!!
